Our Scientific Team has grown with the addition of Pietro Guarato, our new Technical Officer.
Pietro is an enthusiastic Italian professional with a multi-disciplinary profile in energy and environment. He holds an MA in Public Administration from the University of Lausanne and a PhD in Physics from the University of Geneva.
Pietro worked as a Researcher and Scientific Collaborator at the University of Lausanne and EPFL for projects dealing with various climate mitigation options, especially carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) and carbon capture and storage (CCS), both from a technical and scientific perspective (including modelling and data analysis) and from a public policy angle.
Our new colleague will play a key role in supporting the development of CO2 Value Europe’s technical, market, and scientific intelligence. In addition, he will support the implementation of the strategic vision of the Association with evidence-based information. Pietro will be working in close cooperation with the Scientific Director and the Secretary General, our members, and the entire CO2 Value Europe Team.
