After ten years of dedicated leadership, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Walter Eevers as he steps down from his role as Chair of the Board of CO₂ Value Europe.
Since the creation of our association, Walter has been instrumental in shaping our community, strengthening our voice across Europe, and championing Carbon Capture and Utilisation as a key technology for Europe’s industrial transformation. First as a Board Member and then as Chair, his commitment, strategic vision, and collaborative spirit have left a lasting mark on our organisation.
Walter, thank you for your unwavering support, your leadership, and the countless hours you have devoted to CO₂ Value Europe over the past decade. It has been a privilege to build this journey together.

As CO₂ Value Europe enters this next chapter, we are pleased to count on the experience and commitment of Karl Hauptmeier, Managing Director at Norsk e-Fuel.
Having been part of the association’s journey from its early days, first as an active member of the community and later as a Board Member and Vice-Chair, Karl will provide continuity and steady leadership as we build on the strong foundations established over the past ten years.
