Skytree‘s Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology captures CO₂ directly from the atmosphere which provides continuous, on-site circular CO₂ and eliminates transport emissions. Their technology has the potential to revolutionise different systems and sectors, including the circular energy system by optimising heat waste and utilising atmospheric carbon for various Carbon Capture Utilisation (CCU) applications such as green chemical processes.
By reducing dependency on fossil fuels, our new member’s DAC technology supports “defossilising” the value chain and enhances the circularity of various CCU applications including Controlled Environment Agriculture, Food & Beverages, Chemicals and Fuels.
Skytree is currently working on several projects in the CCU space:
🔵 Controlled Environment Agriculture Projects: Skytree has 6 DAC units deployed in the Netherlands, Spain, and Canada.
🔵 Projects in the works include Power-to-X, water treatment and multi-use DAC hubs serving industrial zones.
