Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) has published a post-doc (PD) opportunity on Modeling Transformation of Industrial Clusters. They are looking for an enthusiastic, analytical, and proactive postdoc to work on the VICI project “Unraveling the Impacts of Using Alternative Raw Materials in Industrial Clusters”.

The PD will work together with Prof. Andrea Ramírez and three Ph.D. students in the development of a model that allows assessing the system impacts of using alternative sources of carbon (biomass, CO2, waste) in symbiotic industrial clusters. The PD will explore the use and adaptation of modeling approaches used in invasion ecology to study the transformation of symbiotic industrial clusters, thereby contributing to the development of new insights and knowledge to guide the transition of the industrial sector in the coming decades.
