CO2 Value Europe is a proud member of the SUNER-C consortium by co-leading its communication and dissemination activities and contributing to the further development of the SUNERGY initiative which is an open community of a wide-range group of experts from industry, academia, and society advocating for solar fuels and chemicals as the new paradigm for a climate-neutral Europe in 2050.
We are delighted to present SUNERGY’s Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda on Solar Fuels and Chemicals (SRIA). Based on the SUNRISE Technological Roadmap, the Energy-X Research Needs report, and Mission Innovation’s IC5 report, a core working group with more than 140 stakeholders from industry, policy, and academia, has merged and developed these ideas into the present document over the last three years. The result is a living document that will be further developed with the SUNERGY community into a full solar fuels and chemicals technological roadmap.
These dedicated actions are enabled by the EU Coordination and Support Action funding, the SUNER-C with the aim to consolidate a European community (made up of industry, universities, research centres, and NGOs) to produce the next future generation of fuels and chemicals through the conversion of abundant molecules (CO2, water, nitrogen) and the use of energy from renewable sources (solar light, and wind power).
If you want to interact closely in the elaboration of these documents, please contact the SUNER-C team and become an expert in one of the Roadmap Working Groups.
