Welcome to Our New Member H4 Marseille Fos!

As a project between H2V, Hy2gen AG, and the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille – H4 Marseille Fos (HMF) is supporting the French energy transition. Our new member produces synthetic fuel from green hydrogen and biogenic CO2.

  • Sustainable Aviation Fuel (e-SAF): The project aims to produce 75,000 tonnes of e-SAF per year by 2030, providing a vital solution for defossilising heavy transport and the aviation industry.
  • Hydrogen Expertise: Backed by H2V (specialising in large-scale low-carbon hydrogen) and Hy2gen (expertise in PtX fuels and energy carriers for industry, transport, and power generation), HMF brings technical depth and knowledge.
  • Innovative Circularity: Utilising a CO2-to-Methanol-to-Jet process to produce e-SAF, HMF closely collaborates with biogenic CO2 emitters, including those in the Rhône CO2 consortium, with the project aiming to establish a Carbon Capture and Utilisation (#CCU) logistics chain along the Rhône Valley.
