CO2 Value Europe has recently welcomed MGH Energy as a member of its dynamic and rapidly growing community active in developing Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) technology across Europe.
MGH Energy is an innovative company contributing to the decarbonisation of transport, mainly for the maritime and air industries but also for the land sector in France and abroad. Our new member is a sustainable fuels projects developer, actively working to facilitate the replacement of fossil fuels such as methanol, kerosene, diesel, gasoline, LPG, and others with synthetic renewable fuels in order to promote the transition to a low-carbon transport market.
As part of its strategy to encourage the energy transition of maritime transport, in 2019 MGH Energy took a 25% stake in the start-up Zéphyr & Borée, which aims to design and operate commercial vessels offering innovative low-carbon transport. These hybrid ships aim to consume up to 45% less fuel.
As a major player committed to the decarbonisation of the aeronautical and maritime sectors, MGH Energy develops, finances, builds and operates e-fuel production units and puts them on the market allowing a saving of at least 70% of carbon emissions over the entire life cycle of these fuels.
