As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on a year of incredible progress in advancing Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU). From groundbreaking research to policy advancements like the Net Zero Industry Act and ambitious EU climate targets, the momentum for CCU has never been stronger.
This year, we welcomed 31 new members, published key assessments on CCU’s role in climate neutrality, and celebrated new opportunities for defossilisation projects via the Innovation Fund. Together, we’re shaping a future where CO₂ is neither wasted nor swept under the carpet, but transformed into a valuable resource
