The IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has officially opened the call for author nominations for the Seventh Assessment Report (AR7). The AR7 will be organised into three Working Groups:
🔵 Working Group 1: Physical science of climate change
🔵 Working Group 2: Impacts, adaptation, and vulnerability
🔵 Working Group 3: Climate change mitigation

Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) will be covered under Working Group 3, specifically in Chapter 9 (Energy Systems) and Chapter 10 (Industry). Experts in CCU are encouraged to apply for author roles within this Working Group.
Submissions for the nomination of authors close on Thursday, 17 April 2025 (midnight CEST). Find more information on how to become an author or review editor here and the nomination process here.
