Welcome to Our New Member INERATEC!
Since 2016, INERATEC‘s mission has been to replace crude oil and achieve a carbon-neutral climate. Our new German member produces synthetic fuels and chemicals in modular chemical plants via the power-to-X or gas-to-X processes. Renewable #hydrogen and greenhouse gases (GHG) such as CO2 are converted into e-kerosene, CO2-neutral diesel, synthetic waxes, or methanol.
With their pioneering Power-to-Liquid plant in Frankfurt, the world’s largest power-to-liquid plant to date, INERATEC is working to achieve a more sustainable future and climate-neutral mobility with the production of synthetic e-fuels (CCU fuels). Starting in 2024, this commercial production plant will recycle up to 8,000 metric tons of CO2 annually. This will be used to produce up to 3.5 million liters (2,500 metric tons) of synthetic fuels.
By joining our association, INERATEC aims to advocate for clear rules for CO2 use as a feedstock for synthetic fuels and collaborate for the development of Power-to-X technologies.
