Welcome to Our New Member Hynamics!

Hynamics focuses on the deployment of electrolytic low carbon and renewable hydrogen solutions. They are active along the entire value-chain as developer, investor and operator of H2-production and distribution facilities. Our new member operates in France, Germany and the UK, with foreseen extension across Europe.

Hynamics is a subsidiary of the EDF Group (Electricité de France) and addresses the defossilisation of the following main markets: the industry and the heavy-duty mobility sector through hydrogen, as well as the maritime and aviation sectors through synthetic e-fuels. With 3 MW already in exploitation and 60 GW of projects in development, they can rely on a real expertise from the field. Industrial sites such as metallurgy, refinery or glassmaking use hydrogen continuously in their processes. Hynamics’ solutions include installing an electrolyser powered by low-carbon electricity near to the production site to defossilise the process. In Germany, they also plan to build larger electrolysers connected to the hydrogen grid to reach different customers and enhance the energy network´s flexibility.

Our new member also focuses on defossilisation in the maritime and aviation sectors by supplying low-carbon and renewable hydrogen produced by water electrolysis. They currently have several a-fuel projects in development in Europe in France, Germany, and Spain. These projects plan to combine captured CO₂ with clean hydrogen to produce e-methanol or e-kerosene.
