This and next week, CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency and the European Commission’s Directorate General for Climate Action will host two online Info Days to present the recently launched calls for proposals to accelerate the deployment of innovative technologies in Europe.
Together, the calls will make up to €4.8 billion available for industry and cleantech players in Europe to support the objectives of the European Green Deal and the Net-Zero Industry Act.
🔵 Innovation Fund 2023 Auction (IF23 Auction):
A groundbreaking step toward supporting renewable hydrogen production in Europe! The IF23 Auction introduces a new financing mechanism under the Innovation Fund and contributes to the EU Hydrogen Bank with a budget of €800 million. Bids can be placed until early February 2024.
The IF23 Auction Info Day will take place on the 30th of November, from 10 am to 12:30 pm (CET Brussels Time). The online event is the perfect occasion to learn about the key objectives, design elements, and qualification requirements of this exciting financing mechanism.

🔵 Innovation Fund 2023 Call (IF23 Call):
Offering €4 billion in funding, the IF23 Call is open to projects across a range of sectors, including carbon capture and utilisation (CCU), cleantech manufacturing, maritime, and energy-intensive industries. The application window will be open until early April 2024.
The IF23 Call Info Day will take place online on the 7th of December, from 10 am to 5:30 pm (CET Brussels Time). The event is open to anybody interested in discovering the latest features of the IF23 Call, award criteria, methodologies, and lessons learned from previous calls.
