Greentown Labs, Shell, and Technip Energies are requesting applications from startups advancing industrial decarbonisation by accelerating catalytic innovations. Catalytic processes are the foundation of industrial chemistry and are largely fossil-based and energy-intensive.
This open-innovation program offers startups access to collaboration with corporates, expert mentorship, extensive networking opportunities, as well as marketing and visibility. The criteria for applicants are as follows:
Technology Domain:
- Low-carbon Fuels
- Low-Carbon Gases
- CO₂ Removal
- Sustainable Chemical Manufacturing
Catalyst Areas
- Homogenous/Heterogenous Metal-Based Catalysts
- Catalyst-Preparation Methods
- Catalyst-Reactor Technologies
- New Value Chains Enabled by Catalysts
Applicants should be at Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 3-8 that demonstrate both technical novelty and offer a credible pathway to scale and commercialisation within three to five years.
Applications close on March 10!
