Dear Members and Followers,
Just before wishing you a relaxing summer break, we are inviting you to take a look at our July newsletter with the most recent developments in the CCU sphere.
The EU elections are behind us, and the best of the new mandate will be to wisely align the goals of the Green Deal with the need to maintain industrial competitiveness. CCU can definitely contribute to reaching this objective and we will keep on working towards a supportive policy framework. The dedicated Working Group on CCU, as part of the Industrial Carbon Management Forum (previously known as CCUS Forum), is co-chaired by us and is a great opportunity to address barriers to large-scale CCU deployment, so I encourage all CCU actors to get involved. Don’t forget to check the funding opportunities for CCU in September 2024 and early 2025 and activate your contacts to respond to those calls.
As always, a warm welcome to our newest members whose support in deploying CCU at a large scale is invaluable. We will see each other during our members’ annual event in October in Grenoble, France; all interested stakeholders need to hurry up and join us to take part in the CCU community gathering.
Enjoy the reading and don’t hesitate to reach out!
