The World Sustainable Marine Fuels Forum serves as a critical platform to address the challenges head-on, fostering innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among maritime stakeholders. This event is designed to bring together shipping industry leaders, fuel innovators, technology providers, and policymakers to explore actionable solutions for decarbonising the global maritime sector.

The future of maritime transport depends on collective action to transition to sustainable marine fuels and cleaner technologies. This event will be an opportunity to contribute to a greener maritime industry while networking with global experts and decision-makers.

Our Senior Policy Manager, Franklin Streichenberger, will be speaking on the ‘Captured carbon feedstock for e-fuels in the EU maritime sector: market trends and policy framework’ on Wednesday, the 27th of May, from 2:40-3:05 pm. During his presentation, he will focus on:

🔹 EU policies regarding CCU and e-fuels in the maritime sector.
🔹GHG reduction forecasts at the EU-level in 2030, 2040 and 2050 and role of CCU and e-fuels to reach the maritime sectors’ objectives.
