IPCC report: The role of Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) to mitigate climate change

April 26, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

On the 4th of April, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will publish the third part (WG3) of its 6th Assessment Report (AR6) titled “Mitigation of Climate Change”.

The Scientific Advisory Committee of CO2 Value Europe has participated in the two-round expert review of this report and for the first time in 30 years, the concept of Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) is expected to be discussed there as a solution to mitigate climate change. To highlight the key messages related to CCU in this report and to connect high-level scientists and policymakers on this subject, CO2 Value Europe organises the conference IPCC report: The role of Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) to mitigate climate change” at the Press Club Brussels Europe on the 26th of April from 2-5 pm (CET). The event will also be live-streamed and later on, made available on the platform brussels.climate.

The preliminary agenda and registration details can be found here.
