Global CO2 Initiative’s 2025 May Workshop

Our partner in the US Global CO2 Initiative will be hosting the 2025 Workshop on “Enhancing Environmental and Economic Analysis of CCUS: Tackling Cross-cutting Challenges and Advancing Solutions”, from 20-22 May, at Palmer Commons in Ann Arbor and online.
This free annual hybrid workshop addresses open issues and future directions related to environmental, economic, and societal assessments of carbon dioxide capture, conversion to products, use for other purposes, or sequestration in their many forms. Two to three 10-minute presentations set the stage for subsequent moderated breakout sessions for deep-dives. The workshop typically covers four to five high-level topics to address the breadth of needs.

Tuesday, May 20, 2025, evening – Reception and registration for in-person attendees
Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 8:30 am – 5:15 p.m. – Day one of workshop
Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 6:00 p.m. – Dinner and networking
Thursday, May 22, 20225, 8:30 am – 2:30 p.m. – Day two of workshop, including lunch.
