The G-STIC climate sessions will explore climate change challenges and possibilities for accelerating both its mitigation and our adaptation to it. The various sessions will look into governance, economic measures and financing for implementing adaptation options that help achieve the UN Sustainable Delopment Goals.
The climate sessions will include:
· CO2 capture and utilization (CCU) in the Middle-East (24/10 from 4-5.30 pm);
· Ports as incubators for low CO2 emission technologies (26/10 from 2-3.15 pm);
· Research and policy perspectives on CO2 as a resource (26/10 from 4-5.30 pm);
· A special session on Industrial, academic and policy perspectives on CO2 capture and utilisation (26/10 from 6.30-8 pm).
