On the 21st of October from 9-10.30 am (CET), ECCSEL ERIC is holding a webinar to identify the Carbon Capture and Utilisation potential of ECCSEL ERIC facilities at a more detailed level.
WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS:
🔵 ECCSEL facility owners
🔵 Industry representatives (e.g. from steel companies, cement companies)
AGENDA
⚪️Introduce what ECCSEL ERIC can offer
⚪️CCU scope + CCU potential of the ECCSEL facilities
⚪️Industry perspective on business/technological/ECCSEL CCU potential and synergies and current industrial CCU technology developments (discussion and possibly industry presentations)
⚪️Two examples of the use of ECCSEL facilities applied for CCU (Presentation from facilities owner)
ECCSEL is the European Research Infrastructure for CO2 Capture, Utilisation, Transport and Storage (CCU and CCS). One of the current goals of ECCSEL is to extend its scope from CCS to CCU, by addressing the need for research infrastructure (RI) to develop technologies that could have a significant positive impact on climate change and with obvious smart system integration potential with CCU and CCS. ECCSELERATE aims at identifying synergies between the existing ERIC research facilities and research on CO2 utilisation.
