CARBON SEMINAR SERIES – Dr Anastasios Perimenis

The ARC Research Hub for Carbon Utilisation and Recycling aims to develop technologies that convert CO₂ emissions from the energy and manufacturing sectors into valuable products, creating pathways to market that drive industry transformation. The Hub will pursue novel electrochemical, thermochemical, and biochemical methods to convert CO₂ from sectors where emissions are hard to avoid, and establish effective technologies for CO₂ recycling.

Its outcomes have the potential to shift CO₂ from pollutant to feedstock, delivering benefits for industry, the economy, and society. For Australia, these include stimulating a new industry, developing a skilled workforce, and contributing to national CO₂ reduction targets.

Our Secretary General, Anastasios Perimenis, will deliver a talk in the Carbon Seminar Series on 12 December 2025, 5–6 pm (Melbourne time), focusing on Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) in the European context.
