8th CO2 Value Days & General Assembly

October 3 - October 4

The 8th CO2 Value Days and General Assembly will take place from 3-4 October and will be hosted by our member CEA at the CEA Grenoble – Maison Minatec, located in Grenoble, France. Our annual event brings us all together to review and discuss the latest Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) developments and the work of our Association.

During the CO2 Value Days, we will take stock of the current developments of CCU in Europe from a multi-angle approach and discuss its future deployments. This includes updates from a policy perspective, especially in light of recent developments (e.g. Net Zero Industry Act, EU 2040 climate target, and the Industrial Carbon Management Strategy). Further, the annual event is an opportunity to learn about the progress of impactful projects at the EU level and discuss elements of CO2 Value Europe’s future strategy to realise our Vision for the contribution of CCU in Europe’s Green Deal.

One of our goals is to link the European context to the national context of a country that has the potential to play a central role in the transition to more renewable and circular production systems. This year, national actors and policymakers in France will be invited to highlight the efforts at the national level, including how these can be synchronised and coordinated with other Member States and with Europe overall.

In addition, CEA has organised study visits at their CEA Platforms exploring CCU.

The event is open to CO₂ Value Europe Members or by invitation only. If you are not a member but wish to participate, please feel free to contact Antonio La Mantia at or Lili Chatzikonstantinou at for further information.
