2^nd Greenering International Conference

CO₂ Value Europe is a media partner at the 2nd GREENERING INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE, taking place from 21-23 March in Valladolid (Spain), to share ideas towards the development of sustainable solutions, namely of the chemical industry related to every aspect of our lives.

The conference, which is co-organised by the COST Action GREENERING (Green Chemical Engineering Network towards upscaling sustainable processes) and BioEcoUVa (The Institute of Bioeconomy of University of Valladolid), has the objective to gather academics, researchers, and companies in an international forum to promote the application of green chemistry and sustainable technologies.

Raúl Piñero Hernanz, the coordinator of the CO₂SMOS project, in which CO₂ Value Europe is a proud partner by leading its communication and dissemination activities, will participate as a speaker.

CO₂SMOS project develops solutions to transform the carbon emissions generated from bioprocesses into different sustainable bioproducts: durable polymers, renewable biochemicals, and biodegradable materials. With these compounds, it is possible to produce greener end-products such as packaging, coatings, textiles, and materials for biomedical applications. CO2SMOS toolbox will help biobased industries to achieve zero or even negative carbon emissions as well as replace fossil-based chemicals.
