Global CO2 Initiative’s 2024 Workshop on “Harmonizing Assessments of Carbon Management Approaches”

Our partner in the US Global CO2 Initiative will be hosting the 2024 Workshop on “Harmonizing Assessments of Carbon Management Approaches”, from 21-23 May. This sixth workshop in the series will take place in-person at the Rackham Graduate School at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and online, and is planned and conducted by the International CCU Assessment Harmonization Group with members from the USA as well as international partners.

This free annual hybrid workshop addresses open issues and future directions related to environmental, economic, and societal assessments of carbon dioxide capture, conversion to products, use for other purposes, or sequestration in their many forms. Two to three 10-minute presentations set the stage for subsequent moderated breakout sessions for deep-dives.  The workshop typically covers four to five high-level topics to address the breadth of needs.

Who should attend?

🟢 Researchers, students, practitioners, developers and users of carbon management Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Techno-economic Assessment (TEA) and users of assessment outputs.
