We warmly invite our members, researchers, innovators, and industry leaders in the carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) field to submit their abstracts for the CO₂-Based Fuels and Chemicals Conference 2026, taking place 28–29 April 2026 in Cologne, Germany, and online. The call for abstracts is now open until 21 November 2025.
Organised by our members nova-Institut, with CO₂ Value Europe as media partner and Innovation Award co-organiser, this event has become one of the most influential international platforms for advancing CCU and Power-to-X technologies. Each year, it attracts more than 230 experts from industry, academia, and policy, offering a global stage to explore the latest innovations in converting CO₂ into fuels, chemicals, polymers, and other sustainable materials.
By submitting an abstract, participants gain the opportunity to present their latest research, industrial applications, or technological breakthroughs to a highly specialised and influential audience. Selected participants will engage directly with decision-makers shaping the future of CO₂ utilisation, green hydrogen, Power-to-X fuels, and CO₂-based materials.
The conference provides a unique forum for strategic discussions, collaboration, and business development, as well as insights into emerging market trends and regulatory frameworks. This year’s edition is especially timely, aligning with the EU’s Net-Zero Industry Act, which recognises CO₂ utilisation as a key enabler of Europe’s sustainable industrial transition.
