Welcome to Our New Member Bosch Thin Metal Technologies!
Based in Tilburg, the largest Bosch site in the Benelux, Bosch Thin Metal Technologies, a tradename of Bosch Transmission Technology B.V., is part of the Power Solutions division within Bosch Mobility and has been operating climate-neutral since 2020.
Originally known for its expertise in pushbelt production for CVTs, Bosch Tilburg has since expanded into high-tech thin metal components for electromobility and hydrogen technologies. Leveraging its deep knowledge in product development, production processes, and materials, the company now produces components like e-stacks for electric motors and gas foil bearings.
Today, our new member serves as the research and development hub for Bosch’s electrolyser technology, driving the industrialisation of bipolar plates, electrochemical cells, and PEM-WE systems.
As a member of our association, Bosch is exploring CO₂ conversion technologies, including CO₂-to-CO electrolysis, CO₂-to-formate stacks, and CO₂-to-methane pathways.
