The Carbon to Value Initiative (C2V Initiative) has launched the call for applications for its sixth accelerator cohort, inviting startups developing breakthrough carbontech solutions to take part in a six-month programme designed to accelerate commercialisation.
Established through a collaboration between the Urban Future Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Greentown Labs, and Fraunhofer USA Inc., the C2V Initiative supports innovative companies working to bring carbon technologies from development to market.
Since its launch in 2020, the initiative has supported 45 startups, facilitated more than 600 connections across the carbontech ecosystem, and helped participating companies raise over $700 million in funding.
CO₂ Value Europe Continues Its Engagement
The C2V Initiative is supported by the Carbontech Leadership Council (CLC), a group of executive leaders committed to advancing the deployment of carbontech solutions. CO₂ Value Europe, represented by our Secretary General, Anastasios Perimenis, is proud to continue contributing as a member of the CLC, helping connect innovative startups with industry expertise and strategic perspectives to support the commercialisation of carbon technologies.
Who Can Apply?
Applications are open to startups at Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 4–7 developing innovative carbontech solutions. The programme welcomes technologies across a broad range of applications, including:
- Carbon Conversion to Value-Added Products
- Carbon Capture
- Carbon Sequestration and Removal
What the Accelerator Offers
Selected startups will participate in a six-month accelerator programme featuring customised support tailored to their commercialisation needs.
Participants will also benefit from direct engagement with the Carbontech Leadership Council, gaining access to mentorship, strategic connections and opportunities to accelerate market uptake through collaboration with corporate, nonprofit and government leaders active across the carbontech ecosystem.
