The EU-funded ACTHYVE project has launched a survey to map, structure and strengthen the Technology Infrastructure (TI) landscape across the full hydrogen value chain. TIs are defined as accessible facilities, equipment, capabilities and resources required to develop, test, upscale and validate technologies. They allow companies to derisk their R&D&I investments before market introduction and to have ideas and concepts tested and validated for faster uptake at commercial scale.
As carbon capture and utilisation (CCU), carbon capture technologies, and the synthesis of hydrogen-derived molecules are within the scope of ACTHYVE, this initiative is particularly relevant for stakeholders across the CCU value chain.
The second survey is focusing on the needs of companies and industrial actors (from start-ups to large companies) when they are in search of accessible facilities to test their processes before going to larger scale. This way the two surveys can offer alignment and help the project perform a gap analysis between TI offer and industry needs. For both surveys, the value chain of hydrogen and derivatives are targeted.
Why Participate?
By completing the survey, Your contribution will help us:
- Identify the Technology Infrastructure services that industry needs most for testing, validation, certification, de-risking and scale-up.
- Highlight existing gaps and barriers limiting access to Technology Infrastructures.
- Ensure future recommendations are based on real industrial needs and support investments where they are needed most.
Survey Open Until 20 August 2026
Whether you are an SME, start-up, large company, technology developer, integrator or end-user, your experience and perspective are invaluable. Please share your views and help us build a comprehensive picture of industry needs.
